Capital Mall covers an area of 60,158 sq. mtr. GLA offering 250 shops of over 342 units on three levels. The mall is fully designed to host world-class retail businesses and a wide selection of food and beverage outlets offering fine and casual dining. As Capital Mall continued to expand, it became increasingly difficult to keep a firm grip on its analogue CCTV system. Additionally, Abu Dhabi requires every establishment to use IP CCTV technology to meet the requirement and standard of the emirate for a more secure and safe city.
A request was made to upgrade their system for a scalable IP-based video surveillance that would offer high-quality images and was easy to manage. VALVUR provided 174 IP cameras ranging from lite to professional series and IP SAN storage. All are connected in the central control room, giving the security personnel a complete overview of the video streams. Events are stored and can be traced in a matter of seconds.
Now, usability has been greatly enhanced. Capital Mall uses the latest IP CCTV technology to help retailers not only improve the safety and security of their stores, assets and staff, but also drive operational performance.
